My company is currently running Sage ERP (MAS) 500 version 7.40.2.0 and we are considering upgrading to either version 2014 or 2016. The purpose behind this project is to enable us to upgrade the hardware where we're running the ERP and hosting the database. We're not really after any of the new features. Would you recommend jumping all the way to 2016? Or just sticking with 2014? What problems have people run into when upgrading from 7.4?
A little background: We have 50 concurrent licenses with around 100 people using the applications in a typical day (1,000 employees total). We host the ERP and database onsite. We have a bunch of add-ons and third-party software that talks to the ERP, mostly through APIs.
